I love how on the Crème de la Mer website they describe the benefits of their Miracle Broth™ as ‘The legendary Crème that has inspired a cult following’.
I believe it and here's why...
When first I came across Crème de la Mer it was a few years back at Harrods and I couldn’t really fathom nor grasp all the hype and the fuss about these products and hence swore to myself (crossed my heart and hoped to die) that I would never pay for facial products that are as astronomically priced as la Mer.  At the time, I wouldn’t have been able to afford Crème de la Mer anyway.
Looking back, I admit to how naive I was then about the importance of caring for your skin and for me, the benefits of nurturing and nourishing my skin will hopefully mean that I will have fewer wrinkles and an ever glowing complexion when I get older.  My current routine means I cleanse, tone and moisturise twice a day which works well for my combination skin.
In the past, I’ve used so many of the mainstream brands for skincare as there are some fabulous ones out there with Nivea being a favourite of mine for many years and I too, have used some of the specialist brands but never before have I seen a difference this quickly with regards to how my skin looks and feels and I honestly haven’t been using it for all that long so I will be interested to see how my skin reacts to it in the spring / summer.

So far it has been perfect given how cold it has been as I have always had to moisturise more in the winter and the original Crème de la Mer Moisturising Cream gives me that moisture my skin so desperately needs as it is thick and luxurious however come spring / summer it may be too heavy for my skin which means I may need to go for the Moisturising Soft Cream or the Moisturising Lotion which I am sure will be just as sumptuous.  Of course there will be products that are best suited to your type skin but so far this is working beautifully for me along with the Cleansing Lotion and the Tonic.
The ingredients within Crème de la Mer’s Miracle Broth™ is a fusion of sea kelp, vitamins, minerals, essential oils and other natural ingredients and I am sure it is the fermentation process that has much to do with the magical and miraculous results of La Mer.
Take a look at the la Mer video:

Price wise, I would like to add that whilst La Mer is fairly pricey, you only need a dewdrop of the cream (it comes with a spatula) as it really goes a very long way so I anticipate it will take some time to get through so it isn’t as though you will need to buy this monthly.
I went for the 60ml in the original moisturising cream which means it will take me quite some time before I need another.
So get your gift lists ready for the upcoming special occasions this year and get someone else to treat you with Crème de la Mer as a gift!  You won’t be sorry!
The Application Ritual will show you how best to apply this Miracle Broth™
To conclude, The Urban Retreat at Harrods also offer Crème de la Mer facials for those who wish to try before you buy the products.
Do you believe in miracles?

♥ XOXO ♥
